Radcliffe AC 10 Mile Multi Terrain race (not a champs race)
Sunday 6th February 2011, 10.30am start, registration at Radcliffe Cricket Club, allow 10 minutes to get to the start. £5 attached, £7 unattached £1 extra on the day. On line entries via www.ukresults.net
The run starts on Sion Street, near the junction with Cams Lane. Crossing the Radcliffe Viaduct and following the Nature Trail for over a mile and a half, the runners turn left to follow a steep little climb before getting onto an undulating loop around the fields next to Hurst Wood before returning to the Nature Trail and heading on to a loop around the Phillips Park area before returning via the footbridge over the River Irwell onto Sion Street and then onto Cams Lane to finish on the Nellie Halstead Track.
Last year was the 1st running of this course attracting 247 finishers of all abilities, 1st male 56.57, 1st female 70.24.
