2009 was the Central Lancs Grand Prix 20th Anniversary, Peter McDade decided to leave as Chairman at the end of 2009 with the league looking for someone else to take it on.
Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners and Swinton R.C decided to continue the league together and have contacted current CLGP clubs and new clubs to join forces for 2010 and beyond.
