Sunday 14th April saw the Radcliffe
10k Multi Terrain race taking part in blustery but mild conditions, a record
field of 275 runners traversed the Outwood trail, roads and paths of Ringley before
returning to the finish via the canal system of Radcliffe.
1st home was Nick Leigh from Altrincham Ac in 34.02 followed by Mathew Clark from Swinton Running Club and Thomas Carson from Bolton United Harriers.
1st lady was Laura Riches (17 years of age) from Leigh Harriers in 40.03, followed by team-mate Angela Allen and Joanna Goorney from Wesham Road Runners.
The male winning team was Horwich RMI with Martyn Bell, Alistair Murray, Richard Howarth & Glyn Kay taking the honours.
The ladies winning team was from Burnden Road Runners and comprised of Kirsty Normanton, Gwen Kinloch and Lesley Fisher.
